Known as the largest mass running event of the spring season, the Tartu Marathon introduces participants to the beautiful forest trails of Southern Estonia. Every year, thousands of sports enthusiasts take part in various distances of the trail run. The 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km distances start and finish at the Tartu County Sports Center in Elva. Walkers are also welcome at the start, and on the two longer distances, participants can join a hiking group. In addition to the main distances, the program includes the Charity Run and children's races.
